The Story
In February 2023, Sam was in a Florida trap house, using cocaine from a pipe. He thinks the substance he took was laced with opiates, and he collapsed. When medics arrived, he had no pulse, no blood pressure and no vitals. Four doses of Narcan and CPR did nothing.
But Wait There's More
Three months later, a Jeep traveling 55 mph hit Sam from behind while he was on his bike. He broke his back and six ribs and split his head open. As medics worked on him, he heard them say they might not get a helicopter in the air. He blacked out, this time with no sound or sight, and woke to a paramedic asking, “Do you want to live?”
